Tinkuy is a sport-fingering yarn that brings together the lightness of organic cotton and softness of baby alpaca for all-season projects. With a high twist in the ply, Tinkuy offers both durability and flexibility. Great for summer-friendly knits, shawls and they weave beautifully. It is such a lovely yarn to work with, great for using as-is and is a joy to dye.
Each hank of yarn has been mordanted with gallnut tannin and alum acetate, ready to go into the dye pot. Simply prewet it thoroughly before dyeing. Finish as usual.
